During the visits to the Ministries; YASED members' opinions were discussed, cooperation platforms were identified and exchanges of ideas were shared aimed at improving the investment environment, and attracting more international direct investments by augmenting Turkey's global competitiveness.

Ahmet Erdem, the Board Chairman of YASED, made a statement about the official contacts, saying: "Within the framework of our official contacts in Ankara, we held productive discussions with our Ministries. During our meetings, we discussed the structural reforms to be made urgently to attract more direct investments to Turkey. For the upcoming process, we decided to resume our workshops which cover the entire energy sector between YASED and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. During our meeting with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, we shared our opinions about facilitation of the application processes for work permits of qualified foreign employees visiting Turkey and residence permits of their families. As discussed, it is important to continue a close consultation mechanism and information flow between the public administration and private sector to create a national position. As YASED, we believe that it will contribute to a rapid realization of the reforms and steps to be taken for the economic and social development of Turkey. For more investment, more production, export and employment in Turkey, we will also continue in the future to work as a solution partner of the public with dedication and determination as we have done so far. With these productive consultation meetings due to continue in the upcoming days, we aim to support the sustainable development of Turkey."
