A variety of studies are underway to extend “support to training of qualified labor with global competencies”, one of the five strategic priorities identified in line with YASED’s mission to improve investment environment. In this context, KOZA, a “Corporate Responsibility Project” put into practice in educational area by YASED Employment & Training Working Group in 2009 provides university students with internship opportunity at international companies that are YASED members.
KOZA Project was started in 2009 in the GAP region with the goal of offering equal opportunities for all university students in our country, shedding a light on the leaders of future and allowing the young generation to acquire a vision in professional business life, and then has been expanded and restructured in the last two years to cover 32 provinces in the under-developed regions of Turkey. In the last two years, Koç, Boğaziçi, Sabancı, Özyeğin and Bilkent Universities, the leading educational institutions in our country, have collaborated for Koza Project.
As a social responsibility project by which the International Investors Association YASED supports the young generation in employment, education and training of competent human resources, one of the top priorities of Turkey, “KOZA” has reached in its 7th year 831 university students from 32 provinces and provided them with the opportunity of internship in international companies that are YASED members, enabling the young people to gain experience and vision.
